Care & Repair offers
confidential advice and practical support to older people
and disabled people who need to repair, adapt or improve
their homes.
We can help owner occupiers and private tenants who are over 60 or disabled.
Care & Repair can help organise essential works such as repairing a leaking roof, repairing or replacing rotten windows, rewiring electrical installations or replacing burst hot water cylinders. Adaptations can include installing stairlifts or showers for some disabled people. We can also advise about improvements to heating or insulation.
