We have opportunities within the organisation for both mentored and non-mentored (community) volunteers.
Both mentored and non-mentored volunteers can claim for any volunteer related expense, i.e. travel or sustenance.
All volunteers will be offered support and supervision from the volunteer co-ordinator, as well as being invited to take part in training and staff meetings, they will be kept up to date through the organisations monthly newsletter.
Current Community Volunteer Opportunities |
Handy PersonTo assist the handy person(s) in all aspects of the job. To include plumbing, carpentry, basic DIY jobs etc. |
Community GardeningTo visit existing clients and assist with basic gardening (eg:grass cutting). |
Administrative AssistantAdmin support to assist with the running of the office and organising daily activities of the handy person, gardening and decorating services. Primarily it will be to raise invoices and input payments, filing and monitoring of satisfaction forms. |
